Six Steps to Jump Start Your Business

How are you going to make the next three months different from the six that just passed? How are you going to change the way you do business to make it better? Here are few questions to ask yourself and to help you get started.
Are you  going to
·         Learn something new?
o   Take a class
o   Read a book
o   Attend a training
·         Solicit ideas from others?
o   Ask your customers what they are looking for now?
o   Determine what folks see as their biggest challenges
·         Act on the new learning and/or ideas?
o   Figure out what YOU can do to help clients and customers address those challenges you have identified with their help
o   Make these changes a part of your website, advertising and other outreach
o   Anticipate client needs and work up a new offering or idea for clients
·         Do a better job?
o   Catch up on your record-keeping and filing
o   Set a realistic schedule and get organized
o   Do not put off those tasks you really do not like
·         Reach out to new contacts and potential partners or customers?
o   Where are you going to find them and what do they look like?
o   How will you interest them?
·         Refresh or update your company web site?

Take a few minutes to think about and try one or more of these simple steps. You may find yourself energized and interested and this will carry over to your clients and prospects.
